There are a lot of people living on wheels in Los Angeles. A better alternative to being homeless, but still: shocking. Many end up on the beaches, where amenities and relatively permissive policies provide some respite. You see them in RVs, trucks, tiny beat-up cars.
Most keep a low profile to avoid neighborhood complaints, but some take pride in customizing their habitat, like the fake chalet spotted earlier, or this van in Venice. Rasta owner was a happy chatterbox, enjoying the morning sun while shaving in the ocean.
