Local Architects Go Icey

Topanga architect Robert Michielsen and his partner, Jennifer Fulmer, have been selected to design a suite in this year's IceHotel.
The palace is located in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi, 120 miles North of the Arctic Circle. It is (re)built every year by artists from all over the world, using extra-pure ice from the local river. It opens from December to May, when the ice, and art, melt into a puddle.
The SM Mirror has the story. Pretty cool.
