Make Love Not War

In the true spirit of faites l'amour pas la guerre, San Franscico couple Donna Sheehan and Paul Reffell created Global Orgasm For Peace, proposing that everyone gets synchronized orgasms on the December Solstice to promote peace. "The orgasm gives out an incredible feeling of peace during it and after it," Reffell says. "Your mind is like a blank. It's like a meditative state. And mass meditations have been shown to make a change." From the website:
The mission of the Global Orgasm is to effect change in the energy field of the Earth through input of the largest possible surge of human energy...The intent is that the participants concentrate any thoughts during and after orgasm on peace. The combination of high- energy orgasmic energy combined with mindful intention may have a much greater effect than previous mass meditations and prayers.

The goal is to add so much concentrated and high-energy positive input into the energy field of the Earth that it will reduce the current dangerous levels of aggression and violence throughout the world.
"The dream is to have everyone in the world take part," says Reffell. "And if that means lying down your gun for a few minutes, all the better." It's all over the news. Who said Americans were uptight?
