In Season

Yes: there are seasons in Southern California. Maybe not as marked as in more northern climates, but seasons indeed. Mornings are nippy. We've come to enjoy the fireplace at night. And even though most streets are lined with season-neutral palm trees, some have those unmistakable firy colors.
S.O. says the car is a 1956 Chevy Nomad -- a "classic" of the cutomized car craze that took California by storm in the 1950s.
