Black Gold In L.A.

David Markland of Blogging LA came up with those spooky stats via CNN: there are at least 9 billion barrels up for grabs under the streets of Los Angeles. Currently, California's oil reserve is the equivalent of 60% of the oil used in the Golden State. So, with oil prices at the level they're at these days, what are we waiting for?
