CouchSurfing since 2007 to barter his way through Europe to
the former Eastern Block, the Middle East, Africa, Central America, and now the U.S. He was in L.A. and Santa Monica recently, and met with the editors of the SMDP to tell his story.
No doubt he will turn his experience into a book, or an "anthropological" documentary -- like fellow Frenchman Antoime de Maximy's J'irai dormir à Hollywood.
