Just as Nicole Schuetz published Cadillac Desert in The TerraPass Footprint -- a sobering essay on a century of water damning and diverting that now threatens the Western U.S. -- Matsys Design came up with Sietch Nevada, a futuristic hydrapolis harnessing innovative technology to cope with climate change and the desert land with live in.
