Freeway Chic

Los Angeles has had its fair share of bashing as a freeway-driven nonsense, but when a designer decides to name his new line of sunglasses after those very freeways, something's afoot. Trendiness, perhaps? That's exactly what Alex Israel played on, as LA Observed reports., and his Freeway sunglass line suggests. How it relates to angelenos' actual freeway experience is more than questionable, but that's the power of advertising -- and the glasses don't look bad at all.
