La Niña has been hitting our beaches hard lately, with a persistent June Gloom weather. But there is a weird beauty in the cold marine layer which could be mistaken for Winter. Especially with fun events like the Summer of Color artsy lifeguard towers, or today's historic Paddleboard Race -- the first one in almost 60 years.
