Last weekend's Abbot Kinney Festival was the usual commercial, crowded affair, with bad food, good bands, and a little too many uninspiring knick knacks -- among booths promoting hybrid vehicles, the Venice Historical Society, or the National Rifle Association. A buzzing, mixed scene. Two interesting finds:
