Urban Chatter

A nasty trend is growing in SoCal: commercials in the sky. Every weekend, planes and helicopters fly along the coastline, dragging cloth banners for burgers, cars or TV shows. We also have the occasional blimp. Bonjour visual and air pollution. Stores will do anything to grab your attention, like this McDonald's in Ventura, flying a balloon over the 101 freeway.
On a cuter note, no cruising signs are posted at almost every intersection of the Sunset Strip. What better way to say "I'm famous?"
