New York based artist Arnie Charnick spent some time in a semi homeless situation in Santa Monica.
While in the area, he painted a mural representing the homeless on the beach, and the poignant contrast with the surrounding opulence. He is trying to have the mural endorsed by the City, but Santa Monica seems to be lukewarm about it. A shame, as his mural is a perfect rendering of one's experience wandering through Palisades Park.
