ZAP Xebras have made a remarked entry into town. Just last week, I spotted five, including the signature, striped version. The car looks like a cross between the Smart cars -- so fashionable in Paris -- and the old time 3-wheel Fiat (remember Jean Reno's car in Besson's Big Blue?) ZAP stands for Zero Air Pollution. The company is based in Santa Rosa. Xebras are one of the world's only production all-electric city-cars, and the locals love it. [related]photo LA Frog
