Checked the Downtown gallery scene last weekend. As usual, Bert Green distinguished themselves with a group show by Laurie Hassold, David Hollen and David Grant.
Perhaps the most noteworthy show was Timothy Williams' surfer meets former carpentry life and romantic disappointments at Continental -- an awesome art space which is soon to be turned into a restaurant, Downtown gentrification oblige. Also noted, French photographer Denis Darzacq's chronicle street art at De Soto.
