When French health & sports minister Roselyne Bachelot "sported" pink crocs at the Elysées palace last year, she generated quite a buzz, jolting the myth of la femme française on the way. She didn't stop there: the crocs célèbres were recently auctioned online...for 699€! But it's for a charitable cause: the proceeds will go to Les Blouses Roses, an organization providing relief activities in French hospitals. A fashion faux-pas turned into a good deed.
