Or the worse: in the American version of the French movie Parlez-moi de la pluie, the subtitle editor translated "tu vis dans ce cagibi" (aka, you live in this tiny closet) by "you live in this KGB." We're used to lousy and often nonsensical subtitle translations, but are U.S. distributors IFC taking the piss at their audience, or what?
