Bien Carrossée

Street surprise in a shady part of town yesterday. I came upon this oh-so Southern California babe. A throwback to the car culture of the 1950s and 60s.
As I was chatting the owner while taking the pictures, he told me that the car saved his life. He'd spent most of it in the joint [jail] or on the streets, but the car helped him straighten up and clean his act. It's been an on-going project and love story for this Native American, who obviously found his calling. I guess the dreamcatcher on his rearview mirror did its job.
This car also gives true meaning to the French expression bien carrossée [from carrosserie, car body]. Meaning a girl with a nice, curvy body. Bien roulée, quoi!
