Hammam's Soaps

Hammam in France is the equivalent of Turkish baths. Hammam on the Venice Boardwalk is a very zen, civilized gentleman who sells the most wonderful soaps we have been living on for months. He makes them from plants he picks up himself, "bakes" them in tupperwares with glycerine and other natural ingredients, and cuts them on the spot for sale by the slice. Like pieces of cheese, remarked a French friend. And like hammam in France, Hammam's soaps are a pure pleasure for the body and the senses. Tea tree, jasmine, rose, sage, lavender, rosemary, citronella,... take your pick: Hammam is on the Boardwalk every weekend.
